This Standard consists of nine chapters, namely:General Provisions, Terms and Symbols, Basic Requirements, Principles for Limit State Design, Actions and Environmental Influences, Material and Soil Properties and Geometric Parameters, Structural Analysis and Test-assisted Design, Partial Factor Design Methods, Reliability Management and Assessment, and four appendices.
This Standard:
1. Unifies the design concepts of railway structures9 and specifies that the probability-based limit state design method expressed by partial factor format shall be used for the design of railway structures, in the Chapter of General Provisions.
2.Specifies the general technical requirements of limit state design method of railway structures and the safety classes and design service life of railway structures9 stipulates the importance factors of structures, and presents the concepts that the environmental influences on structures and durability shall be considered in structural design, in the Chapter of Basis Requirements.
3. Refines and improves the classification of limit states, specifies that railway structures shall be designed in terms of ultimate limit states, serviceability limit states and fatigue limit states, defines the classification of design situations, stipulates the basic principles of limit state design, and provides principles on reliability-index-based design.
4. Stipulates the principles for determining the design parameters of actions, specifies the standard diagrams of train live loads, and provides environmental influences regulations in principle.
5. Specifies the principles and methods for determining properties and geometric parameters of materials and soils.

根据建设部《关于印发<二○○-○○三年度工程建设国家标准制订、修订计划>的通知》(建标[2003]102号)的要求,中国建筑科学研究院会同有关单位共同对国家标准《工程结构可靠度设计统一标准》GB50153—92进行了全面修订。
本标准在修订过程中,积极借鉴了国际标准化组织ISO发布的国际标准《结构可靠性总原则》ISO2394:1998和欧洲标准化委员会CEN批准通过的欧洲规范《结构设计基础》EN1990:2002,同时认真贯彻了从中国实际出发的方针。修订后的新标准比原标准在内容上有所扩展,涵盖了工程结构设计基础的基本内容,是一项工程结构设计的基础标准。
【内容简介】本标准为强制性国家标准,自1995年5月1日起施行。本标准规定了以结构可靠性理论为基础的极限状态设计基本原则和方法,应作为制定铁路桥涵、隧道、2100433B
