摘要:通过对天然气在金属切割中的特点进行分析、试验，总结出采用天然气切割金属的各种工艺参数;切割质量符合技术要求。

Abstract: The characteristic of natural gas on cutting isanalyzed based on practices of manufacture, and includes the cutting processand parameter; the cutting quality accords with the requirement of the productdesign.

目前，氧-乙炔切割下料在许多钢结构制造企业占主导地位，生产成本较高，钢瓶运输、搬运安全隐患大。且钢结构加工利润微薄，只能在生产中挖潜降耗，降低成本，提高企业的竞争力和适应力。为此，经反复试验总结后，在我公司的制造厂大力推广应用天然气替代乙炔气新技术，并取得成功，切割厚度可达500mm。
