Abstract: The evaluation methods of anti-cracking performance of asphalt at low temperature are not unified. In order to reduce the pavement cracking, it is very important to find out the uniform evaluation index. This paper adopts the theory of grey relation degree to evaluate the low-temperature performance index of asphalt binder. The results show that it is feasible to take the toughness ratio or asphalt penetration index as the main index to evaluate low—temperature performance of asphalt binder. The results are important to reduce shrink cracking of asphalt pavement.
