设计阶段中设计师与业主、建筑师、室内设计师或景观设计师等相关方面沟通，了解并分析项目的品牌定位、建筑设计风格、功能要求，明确具体的光环境要求。
We’d like to participate in to be involved inarchitectural projects from the earliest , right from the early stages (ConceptDesign Phase Schematic Design Phase) to fully consider what the concept andtheme should be for our the lighting design.
We use this phase to properly understand the architectural intent and strategy,and then based on the lighting requirements, are able to prepare a lightingdesign concept.

设计师将与各方进一步沟通和协调，在已通过的照明构思设计的基础上，为项目提出必要的照明效果和技术要求，考虑的重点是可靠性、经济性和安装维护的便利性。一般会有多个可能的照明方案，针对项目的特定条件，考虑尽可能多的设计方案。也通过可行性研究进行分析，大致估计成本造价。
Based on the approvedlighting concept, during this phase we present the necessary lighting effectsand techniques for a project. Generally, there is always more than one possiblelighting method, and we like to consider as many options as possible withoutlimiting our freedom of thought and targeting the given conditions of a project.Also, approximate cost estimates are analyzed through feasibility studies.

During this phase we furthertarget feasible options from our initial design framework for finalization.After many consultations with the Client, architects, and other designconsultants with the project, we analyze our design in greater detail toprepare detail documentation drawings for approval.

根据需要照明顾问将建议客户合适的承建商和/或供应商/制造商，他们可能被邀请参加照明工程和供应合同的招标。提供投标图纸，规格，附表和细节给投标方，使其完整理解照明顾问的设计意图和要求。照明顾问也应协助客户评估招标回报和可接受的报价。当面对样品检验。
Recommend to the Clientsuitable contractors suppliers/manufacturers who may be invited to submittenders for the lighting works and supply contract, and assist the Client andother appropriate professional consultants where necessary in short-listing oftenders. Drawings, Specifications, Schedules and Details that are necessary forthe sake of complete comprehension of the Lighting Consultant. Our designintention and strategy are given to the tenders. The Lighting Consultant alsoassist the Client in evaluating the tender returns and the acceptability of theprices quoted. Interviews and sample tests are also part and parcel of thisstage.

照明设计总是在施工现场完成。此阶段的责任是监督光的质量，现场落实。许多时候仅图纸是不能正确传达设计意图，需要对现场施工人员解释我们的设计。在现场召开一个照明设计交底会议。预期每个施工现场的工艺和流程，通过现场模拟实验确认灯光效果，为在施工过程中可能发生的其他设计变更做调整准备。重点照明调试和场景设定是最终调试的重要环节。
A lighting design is alwayscompleted at a construction site. Therefore it is our duty to supervise thequality of light that materializes on site. Many a time drawings alone cannotcorrectly communicate our design intent and, to clarify our ideas to thebuilders on-site, we hold a special lighting design briefing. We alsoanticipate the process and flow of each construction site to confirm lightingeffects through mock up experiments on-site or to adjust for other designchanges. That may occur during the course of construction. Focusing andcoordination of operation scene changes are important steps just before thefinal commissioning.
