Introduction

东华大学·魏玛设计研究中心（Weimar-Donghua University Centre for Design & Research）于2010年11月正式成立。

中心由上海魏玛文化传播有限公司和东华大学服装·艺术设计学院联合建立，选址于东华大学延安路校区逸夫楼，旨在进行标识、虚拟现实、数字媒体、影视动画等专业领域的设计研究工作，将实际项目引入中心，由中心团队执行，充分发挥学生的创造力，在提升项目质量的同时也提高了学生的实践能力。

Founded in Novermber, 2010, Weimar-Donghua University Centre for Design & Research is located in YifuBuilding on the campus of DonghuaUniversity (Yan’an Road). The center is active mainly in design and research of signage, virtual reality, digital media, TV and animation. Working with real projects, the center is operated by the staff and assisted with college students. It is proved mutual beneficial, providing practical opportunities to students while yielding original and creative design.

中心现有教授1名，副教授1名，讲师3名，专业资深顾问3名，在读研究生16名，形成了一个高层次、专业化的强大设计研发团队。

With one professor, one assistant professor, three lecturers, three senior consultants, and 16 graduate students on board, a highly intellectual and professional design group is formed.

中心配备苹果多媒体研究中心一个，动画捕捉中心一个，大型图文工作站一台，图文工作站10台。

The centre is equipped with one Apple Multimedia Research Center, one Motion Capture Center, one large Graphics Workstation, and 10 Graphics Workstation.
